Why am I obsessed with a tie and holster? As if it's common for folks to walk around in suits with guns. It's not. Most people don't wear suits. Most people don't wear guns. The thing is, I have to upgrade my wardrobe to feel right. To combat the depression I've been handed, I may have to wear a suit and gun, but I won't like it. It's dangerous to carry a firearm, even when you're properly trained and healthy. It's a lot of extra clothes to suit up, time and money. Going from a t shirt to full suit means buttoning up, selecting and tying a tie, selecting and clasping cuff links or cuff buttons, the possibility of adding a hat, selecting and wearing a coat, having a spot to hang your coat once you get there, having everything match and keeping it clean.
I'm putting off the "Tie and Holster" for as long as possible.
PS. I relearned the Windsor Knot today
PSS. Not to mention strictly watching what I eat, exercising, and brushing my hair to improve my self image without the suit. This I've done. It doesn't help. I get fat and ugly either way. WE GET FAT AND UGLY NO MATTER WHAT.
PSSS. I just want the suit, not the gun. I'd shoot my foot.
