The Guitar Nut is C Chords

I've begun learning the guitar with a capo, and the nut of the guitar can be thought of as C.

Here's my reasoning...The "open chords" that you first learn on guitar are G, A, B, C, D, E, and F. All "natural," so to speak. This is the key of C. And when you move the capo up the fretboard you're progressing from C on up.

Now constructing songs is another matter. In order to construct songs, or licks, you must know what chord you're playing and what chords sound good together. Cause you might want to play a turn-around at a position that's in a different key.

That's the best I can explain it for now. By the way, it's fricken freezing here...and snowing.
