I know I'm repeating myself, but someone must listen to my great ideas...

In all formats of Magic the Gathering we need balanced creature combat...They (Wotc) are doing a better and better job of it as the sets come out, but we want creature combat in all formats, even the older formats like Vintage and Legacy... If that means a harsher Restricted List then so be it...The point of limiting the sets is to have more balanced play, but wouldn't it be nice if there were less restrictions and better creature interaction...I dare say, at least the way it HAS BEEN played, is that you cast creatures to the battlefield and they fight, and sometimes they deal damage to your opponent, and then you win. But if we were to have better "instants" and "artifacts" and "enchantments" that could compare with creatures, then the game would be more balanced and possibly even simplify the multiple formats we've seen. For example, Vintage and Legacy should have never been separated, and Modern and Standard should have never been separated. You're creating weight classes when you don't even have any fighters...Also a reason Duel Decks were a good idea...Having less of a bright line on color abilities would likely balance the play, but may leave the overall feel of the game lacking...
