Someone at Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast Likes the Pain of the Market

The cards being released in the most recent Mtg set "Eternal Masters" are for lack of a better term, "a weak bleeding of the market." I pre-ordered my box from a local gaming store for $256, after tax, but am having serious buyers remorse as they release more and more spoilers. The cards in the set are a bunch of upgraded commons and uncommons that are already sitting well below MSRP on the secondary market. While it will be interesting opening these great cards, and possibly drafting an old school feel, my own investment in the game has gone downhill. The cards I own from the past are losing their value, and the cards that I've preordered are losing value as they release spoilers. This set is powerful money grab. It's a drag.

The set can best be summed up by asking, "Can I cast my "Hydroblast" with my "Mana Crypt?"" The answer is, "No."
