When you have better sense, you know things are lasting. Like relationships and standards.
For example, knowing that an article of clothing will last you 3 years with regular wear might provoke certain actions that will make you want to wear that comfortable piece of clothing. Personally, I'm a little shaky when it comes to shelf life of hard goods and clothing. When it really comes down to it, how does anyone know what something will last?
That brings up another very valuable point. My computer has become more valuable to me in the same time it decreased refresh rate and increased greasy content. I guess that Microsoft will see my ranting and raving as a hint that they might slow down their "progress." I know we all drag our feet. I know that for a fact. Please bring back hard copy. Please bring back CRT. Please bring back discrimination. Please get the girls in bikinis off the computer. Please limit Flash. Please keep my auto-fill from making crude suggestions. Please quit asking me to store my password. Please don't give me anything moving that I don't click. Please understand that there are many of us that operate a computer for many hours.

Why are Religious Leaders Gaunt?
I believe there is a fair amount of stress that goes into being a religious figure. I'm a big supporter of "The Church" and how the church operates. Yet, I do believe that the stress that religious figures often have is not of their own doing. It's their subordinates and followers that aren't giving them a break. Not the kind of "thank you for allowing my family in your church" kind of break. But the kind of break that regular human beings need from time to time. To smile. To eat. To feel loved.
So support your pastors, regardless of sect, and invite him over for a meal or 2.

Dear Opah, I Don't Like This
My dear Opah conditioned me to have vulgar traits and now I'm feeling very poorly about it. I mean I eat a lot, but I don't burp. I mean I'm incontinent from all the pornography I've watched, but I don't fart. These bad habits are simply distractions from my intent to have a productive and happy life. I don't think all my negative traits are from my Opah, but these definitely are. I had about 3 quarters as many farts and a ten times as many burps after returning from Arizona. I don't see any purpose behind this. I am a victim.
Man's Desire to Keep his own Dictionary
It is my belief that man be allowed to keep his own dictionary. There are many ways we represent and interpret what is said and done by individuals today. The simple act of keeping ones own dictionary can separate the fools from the faulty, the sunshine from the sunny, the misgiven from the given. There are many troubles in prose, vulgarity, tense, and subject matter that can deter man from his purpose. Body, mind, and soul need keep dictionaries.

Even if they Printed the Reserve List
Even if they broke the trust of thousands of Magic the Gathering players and re-printed the coveted reserve list, the cards from "Vintage Masters" would skyrocket and immediately become like the older cards prices. I used to think that Wizards could moderate demand for these things, but I'm beginning to wonder whether there's any real merit in it. We've all heard stories of kids getting hurt over Starter jackets and Air Jordan shoes. Wizards should think long and hard about what they bring to the table. It's a friendly card game.
Now the troll speaks. I try to bring to each deck something special. So each deck will have a theme, or tribe, or commander. I'm always on the lookout for card interactions. Most modern cards won't speak to my Vintage decks, but that might not always be the case. I prefer creatures to spells. I can visualize 2 creatures interacting. It's much harder to visualize spells interacting. There are lots of modern cards that could be purposed to present a real challenge in the Vintage format, and Modern for that matter, but casting costs would have to come down to where they were before. The minor adjustments on spells have been welcome. That being said. Leave Magic the Gathering the way it is.

Numbness from Medicine
I can't say there is a definite link here. But I think that my anti-psychotic medicine is meant to numb the nervous system and to get a more desirable outcome in thoughts. The problem with this is that I'm not very sharp to begin with, so it's like putting a muffler on a Geo. And the real problem with this is that physical touch is perceived poorly and the resulting depression is the exact opposite of the desired effect for this medicine.
Now, I'm no Psychiatrist but I have a college degree and a pocket full of common sense. Lapping these medicines for the sake of what is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. I've got lingering effects from the undesirable medical treatment I've been subjected to. Now, my medicine list is changing because the doc wants to see change despite my arduous injunction.
I have a long history of fighting and I'll continue to fight for what's good and true despite what I'm subjected to.

Fart Jokes Aren't Funny when You're Incontinent
So I get it...switch to USPS make my life miserable. Send me on vacation to Arizona and hire me for a miserable task. And teach me to fart. Life's little fart joke. I would find it funny if I weren't INCONTINENT.

When I Own Wal-Mart
Ok, so when I own Wal-Mart there will be no self checkout and none of those annoying electronic advertisements in store. In fact the only ad you see will be the weekly coupon catalog when you enter the store.

I Miss Pixels
So I did a little experiment to see what's been bugging me about Windows and changed my resolution back to 1024 x 768 and sure enough, there were a bunch of pixelated icons. I'm still thinking there's a camera-like setting that has been added to Windows computing. A simplification perhaps, that deals with the increased number of pixels. I refuse to use classic shell, and my monitor doesn't support 1024 x 768, so I move on.
