Lah de Dah, ways to forget about being a student OR better student by trade

Notecards are the tell-tale sign of a student that wants to improve their grades, you buy notecards and use them to keep notes, arrange study papers, and what not. Some students have alternatives like post-its or digital records, but the notecards stay the same. You track a note and then recycle it in turn at a undefined time in the future. So what lead me to this note-taking epiphany? I realized that I can turn the folders in my Google Drive folders into subjects and the files would be the notes. I'm sure I've done this before but had never really realized you could just name your folders after your subjects in school. Like, one folder Biology, one folder Math, one folder Physical Education, and so on until your folder hierarchy looks like a syllabus of what you studied in school. This is helpful if you're a continuing student with many interests. It's not like you get credit or money for your files it just helps you be more organized, but it's a nice thing.

I've found Google Drive helpful in being a central repository for my files, but have yet to access it from the iMac or Cell Phone. Many of the files and programs are not compatible across platforms. And I sure miss my XP PC games.
