My last few posts have been loaded with indecision because I haven't been feeling well. I'll try to keep it positive this post.
I went to a wedding with my Dad and Brother the other day. It was my cousin marrying. I wasn't able to drink booze, but I still had a good time, I think we all did. My cousin and his wife seemed really happy. The ceremony was short and sweet with my Dad reading a passage, then we went inside to greet the wedding crew. Later we ate a wonderful dinner and as everyone was letting their food digest the lights went off and up came blue pulsating lights all over. There were more lights, then all sorts of craziness. We left before the end, but it was still a great success. As we were leaving I saw my cousin and his wife lifting and throwing shoes in response to questions, it looked like fun.
It's nice spending time with my family. I guess I spend a lot of time with my family considering I live with my parents.

Why does everybody react in life and in business?
Once upon a time, humanity had great foresight, our plans stretched out years ahead and generations ahead, the work we did was an actualization of our dreams. Fast forward to today and everything, each sale, each conversation, each decision, is a reaction. When did we lose our foresight and begin reacting? Is it when we really started trying? Is it when we had enough with the problems we were encountering? Is it when greed kicked in? Either way, it's when we lost the driving force of our resolve and began compromising. But what's wrong with planning and beginning with the end in mind? Is it simply a strength that has been lost through disuse? I'm not sure why we're losing it, but it's clear that as time goes on we are reacting more than we're being creative.
Creative living is as simple as being whole while building something of value. But we have put creativity on the back burner and replaced it with the fear of creativity. Through abuse, and neglect, and reaction, we have taken a good thing and turned it into a shadow of itself.

Half the junk I've done on the computer has been persuaded by outside influences
Half the words I've typed, half the websites I've visited, maybe more than half, half the programs I've created, and so on, have been persuaded... I don't know what's so special about my computer time that you would have to interject, very brief thoughts and actions, into my life.

Privacy, what it is and what it isn't
Many folks mistake privacy with security. They believe that an increased regimen of stops and procedures will eventually result in privacy of the individual. But privacy is as simple as having time for the basic necessities of life, without the constant external pressures of civilization. There are many ways to destroy an individuals privacy and not many ways to repair it. It is fragile and when an individual or party takes steps out of their own way to intervene or otherwise manipulate another, they have compromised a very delicate privacy that exists. Sometimes it's not as simple as injunction in another path, sometimes it's slights, double entendres, or otherwise neglecting someones privacy.
Most privacy violations are simple mistakes of assumption. Jumping to conclusions if you will. When 1 individual jumps to conclusions that may interfere with another, there is typically a privacy violation. It's not always bad, but many times it creates conflict and results in a mess. If your assumption or suggestion is so interweaved in another that you're drawing conclusions, interrupting them, or otherwise spending their time and money, then you should really re-examine where you stand on privacy.
EDIT: When I say privacy I mean the value of privacy in a sense, not any strange derived privacy that they talk about today...

Instead of renovation say, Genovation
This may sound silly, but there are a lot of buildings that need genovations, or complete rebuilding of the insides. I believe a lot can be done through genovation.

It's called business, not screw David
What happened to objectivity and good manners? When I was young, and still now, I'm constantly concerned with the well-being of others along with myself. I don't interrupt people, I don't go in front of people, I don't draft people well after meeting them. I have a body that I have to regularly keep up, and guess what, if I don't, then I don't eat.
Patience is not power. They are separate things. When you are patient you are waiting and giving of your time, you are considerate of the struggles people are going through, yet firm enough to correct them. Power on the other hand is a statue of hope. A very real consideration for the standards we lay. Power may be fear or use, but not always. Power is supporting yourself and others in tandem while a million fields are reaped, ironically enough, without fear but with patience.
Why don't U get a job? Without a job, so to speak, it's hard to espouse power or patience. While it takes time and money to live. Power and patience require self awareness to function, not the other way around. This is why fear is believed to be so potent. And it is possible to live without time, money, or a job, yet very unpleasant. Don't ask me how I'm not a martyr.
Then why do we break dogs, so to speak, when it takes a whole lot of Time, Money, Patience, Power, and Jobs to function as a whole? Wouldn't it be more fitting of a wholesome culture, to be respectable toward mother nature, and nurture our own? Well, I'll leave you with that. When you consider your thoughts, please consider these foundational concepts, and realize that a strong individual may or may not be an actor, may or may not have all these traits, may or may not reason with their reflection and shadow.

Strong Women and Men
It's natural for women to want to be strong and pretty, and it's fully possible to do. But if the world puts a few pounds on them it shouldn't be the end of the world, it goes for men too. It shouldn't be made into a big deal that can become a problem. Just eat 'til you're full and exercise and the rest should take care of itself.

There is No Lack of Trying
Have you ever noticed there are those that make a difference and those that make a mess. And then there are those that walk a fine line in between, artists, activists, engineers (kidding). Yet we are all trying to find value in a chaotic world. Fight the irony of the ages and you are met with a rude response, if you're lucky.
There are many times in my life that I've attempted to do the right thing and was met with a rude response. My internal compass is less acute than it used to be. A part of me says it's actors taking liberties on my behalf, and another part of me says it's actors taking my behalf on liberties. Either way it's draining me of my creative energy and scaring the humanity out of my time.
