The Wrong Demons

Sure, we all have demons that influence how we act out our daily lives. Some are better at suggestion than others. The demons can be helpful when we're on our last rope. But sometimes the demons that act within us are not our own. I'd argue that when we're taking pot shots at our own family, those demons are not in our own best interest. When we don't recognize our own reflection, something is wrong! I'm not saying that we should outlaw bad moods, and even the occasional petty out-of-character remark is accepted as human.

It is clear to anyone that "tough love" is simply actors "giving up." Another petty want of character.  The problem is that they think giving up is a series of liberties that they can control, when it's clear the nature of care is a dynamic, ever-changing, living thing. Not even the greatest supercomputer, programmed with the myriad of human wants, can determine the slightest whim of a child on summer vacation.

So why do we take pot shots at our loved ones when the simple want of a child is free from demons? First, I think it's clear that all actors, no matter how organized and strong, are wanting, and thus capable of failure. As we grow both physically and mentally our wants increase leading to greater capacity for failure. But the demons of age are well known and aren't want of misleading the aging.

The facade of "tough love" is enough to demoralize a population enough to influence the demons of that population. So is "tough love" simply an economic tool? The butchering of soft feelings merely a timed egg ready for consumption? It would seem so, but it's not. Even the most omnipotent actors are at the whim of the wrong demons. And it's trivial to look at the wants of the wrong demons.

Questions for consideration???
If there is no way of finding the "wrong demons" wants, then why do we think we can effect their impact on our lives?
What function does timing play on our perception and interaction with various demons?!
Could the timed egg analogy be a large part of the story leading to more consequences than simply economic?
Do actor-demons and forced-demons behave in similar ways or want to be seen in similar ways?
