I love my coworkers, but sometimes the intensity that they bring to the table is a bit conflicting...I would imagine a very militant workforce where older professionals are involved, similar to the upper echelons of corporate America. And we have that to a certain extent, yet, me personally, want more action, of course. I'm missing out on the tertiary conversations on how to do this or that, use this tool or that, make this sale or that. Because everything is assumed due to age and experience. Well, that's great, but again, me personally, don't rely as heavily on age and experience.
Now don't get me wrong, I look up to everyone of my coworkers for courage, advice, and experience. Yet, we need an action plan that includes me, because I'm part of this company whether I like it or not. Maybe I'll have Mom pay me for part of my time and then the formality will come. Although that seems petty because I don't really need any more money, and mostly I would be doing it for the respect aside from the money and pressure.
