What Makes a Full Time Job?

I hope this turns into 1 of those evergreen articles. The components that are necessary to have a fulfilling career that compliments your personal life.

Requirements

1) Patience. Waiting out your boss when he wants to fire you is key.

2) Lower standards on earnings. There's no such thing as a free lunch. But there is such a thing as a tasty 1.

3) Penny for Penny, Pound for Pound, you must make a profit.

4) Don't burn bridges.

5) Care for your employees.

6) You shouldn't think about work when you're at home, and you shouldn't think about home while you're at work. This is a general guideline with exceptions, particularly when involving kids.

7) The economy is a living, breathing thing. It should be respected and cared for. Every transaction counts.

8) Know the difference between strategy and process. Strategy often has shortcomings. Process often needs to be updated, but works better than strategy.
