Black Cats and Monkey Wrenches

Ok, so what does my rant today have to do with black cats and monkey wrenches. The thing is, I'm seeing black cats, dogs actually but who's counting, and wrenches out of the corner of my eyes. It's really strange to see things out of the blue like that. I can tell that muscles are going back to where they were, slowly but surely, getting stiffer and sorer. I wish I could make everyone less stiff and sore. I feel like a bit of focus on my core activities and hobbies would help, but I've already got an incredible amount of activity and focus in my life. I'm thinking of going to Friday Night Magic at Crystal. I'll have to talk with dad about my car. It's about $25 after it's all said and done for a full nights' entertainment. Well worth it if you ask me. Besides I fit the profile. Non-drinker, young, male, non-demanding career. I hope to pull a Wooded Foothill or 2 from a pack. The odds against are about 1 in 50, but worth it for a few commons, maybe a mythic rare, maybe a wooded foothill for my Dragon deck. This Friday is the 3rd, my payday for disability. I'll plan on going and getting food, a couple khan packs, and watching the tournament a little. Probably won't play though cause I'd like to put more thought into my standard deck this time. I'll begin this week by reading the card list online.

ponder....ponder

I do wonder if used memory sticks(so-dimms) from pcs could be retrofitted to be used in a digital camera. Just a random ponder I had about the better use of technology. Signing off now, have a great weekend.

How am I supposed to lead a regular life without a regular telephone!!

All I want out of this life is a regular working telephone from the telephone company. Is that so much to ask??

Less Electronics in Sporting Events...

This is something I feel very strongly about. Electronics should be kept at a minimum in professional sports. Electronic replays and reviews hurt every sport, including football. Watching the guys wait on a technical review makes everything worse off.

To the point, here's some examples where electronics make sense(if they are already used). 1, the sensor in hockey to tell when the puck has entered the scoring area. 2, Electronic sensing equipment in fencing and martial arts. 3, radios in the guys helmets. 4, real time box reviews where the game isn't interupted by the review. 5, scoring sensors in basketball 6, American Football fouls where the outcome of the game is dependant on a ruling 7, Shooting and projectile sports where the scoring area can be digitized 8, Racing where small tolerances are necessary

I could go on and on about the gray area of electronics in sports. The point is that electronics are helpful where they are necessary and functional, and not necessary everywhere else.

Sad About Grandma Dying

My grandma on my Dad's side is dying and I haven't seen her or spoken with her.  It makes me very sad to think I won't see her again. UPDATE: Grandma Mary has now passed away. I'm sorry to my family. You will be missed Grandma.
