Had a Good Dinner

Grandma and Grandpa bought a slow roasted chicken for dinner and I ate a bunch of it. I'm having a great vacation though the dust makes it a little hard to concentrate. All I really want is to be able to focus on my day and get some professional, personal, and creative things done. The warmth is a great way to relax my body, I'm very thankful for the warmth here. I miss my coworkers back at Minnesota, and my Family too. I think I and Grandma are going to make bracelets from used military parachutes. I want to make mine just right for my wrist. The World Asked me to Throw a Fit, Here it is...

Shaun White and Shanni Davis, BOTH should have won their 3rd Gold. They both have the technical merit, training, strength, finesse, and star quality to stand atop the podium. I don't want to hear it wasn't their days, or that they've had their shot. They have worked harder than most anyone in their respective sports and they didn't perform anywhere near their training runs during the medal rounds. I don't think it was stress either, they both seemed composed starting their runs. I don't know what it was, but it's a real bummer that these top notch athletes didn't get their 3rd. :(
