Challenge of the Week

Last night I lie awake in bed...I've decided to have a race against the computer cribbage game quick cribbage to 100 points, tracking the difference at the end of each game and adding the scores. I'll post an update tomorrow when the tournament is done.

Along the same lines, I hope to enter more gaming tournaments, chess, scrabble, poker, maybe bridge.

How to Play Catchup When You're Light Years Behind

Ok, I'm not depressed, in fact I'm quite happy. But my success, particularly in business is mind numbingly slow. Why don't I make some juice on my eBay sales?! I'm not in Friggdippin school any longer. I should be profitable. Anyways, I'm too mad to think, go to www.versaglobe.com.

Back to Work on Depakote

The doctor prescribed Depakote and I've taken 2 doses so far. It seems to be helping a little, but it will probably be a couple more days before it's fully kicked in. It's nice coming down from my Manic episode, now I can breath and take time to smell the roses.

I'm really looking forward to getting my credit card payed off, then reducing my credit limit to $1,000, and buying a few nice things, then saving for a house.

I spent a bunch of money during this manic episode and went over my credit limit something I had feared for years. So, I'll be getting a bunch of exciting things UPS this coming week.

I'm really determined to get back to work and do my job well. I'm really thankful for how the supervisors and managers and security and people from different departments all pitch in to make work pleasant. Very different than the lonely rat race I've grown accustomed to. My biggest issue with working is that my feet get very sore and I can't really shake it. They have grown calluses and my stamina has improved, and I got Wednesday off. I'm hoping they will hold up under my schedule.

One goal that I'm making myself take on is to establish a steady plan for practice sessions. I'll start with something like 15 or 20 minutes of practice. I'll start with my Gm pentatonic scale on the keyboard. then Gm pentatonic scale on guitar, then Curtis Lowe and The Gambler, and finish with some casual strumming. Now that I've got work, I've got to fit in my practice.
